My old friend Noel Monk called me from LA to ask me to work on the Van Halen world tour with our mutual friend Chip Monck, the lighting designer for Woodstock. I spent a month with the band in LA and then went back to NYC and did a photo-montage-based Tour Book of which this is but one spread.
