THE GOOD WOMAN
OF SETZUAN
1970

I had done the big full-page ad for the Season at The Repertory Theatre of Lincoln Center and also did one of the featured plays, The Good Woman of Setzuan, a Brechtian epic starring a powerful Colleen Dewhurst in the title role, and featuring Phillip Bosco and Priscilla Pointer amongst others. This was the Jules Irving era, and the production was most lavish and professional, with a new translation by Ralph Mannheim. The poster was a large silkscreen at about 60 inches high.
